Staff & Board
Pastor John & Sue Goodman were both raised in southern, WI. They attended North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. They served two AoG churches as youth/ associate pastors for 12 years before becoming senior pastor’s in 1996. John has served as an area Presbyter, is on the district prayer committee, and currently serves as the Alumni President of North Central University. The Goodmans moved to Minnetonka and became the head pastors at West Oaks Community Church in August of 2000. They have been happily married for 25 years and have six children: four boys and two girls. Their passion for ministry at West Oaks is to see the love of Christ shine through the Body of Believers and to minister to one another and reach out to the community and surrounding areas. Each part of the leadership team works together to live out the Christian Faith. Worship, the Word, Missions, and touching people at their point of need combine the focus of their vision!
Pastor Daniel Risdall is the newest member of West Oaks Community Church. Since he’s been a part of the West Oaks staff he has lead Nova Student Ministries. He has a passion for discipleship, and recognizes the importance of it in Junior and Senior High. He is a senior at North Central University with a major in Pastoral Studies. He grew up in Aurora, IL, but also lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin growing up. He has helped with several Assemblies of God ministries working with youth, children, adults, and worship. Most recently he interned at Covenant Assembly of God in Kingman, KS. Daniel’s parents are principals at Calvary Christian School in Naperville, IL. He has two older brothers. His oldest brother Paul along with his wife Laura are youth pastors at Bethel’s Rock in Minneapolis, MN. His other brother Dave is also a senior at North Central with a major in Media Communications. Daniel is committed to helping the students of the Minnetonka-Hopkins area, and believes he is where he is to turn others to Christ.
I’m Christine Dondlinger and I am married to the most wonderful man on earth, Leo and we have two children; Antonio and Chrystal. I have been attending WOCC for close to twenty years. I have served in various positions and have enjoyed all of them. My greatest joy is just being able to serve God wherever needed as He enables me. I do counseling and love helping people see how God can help them in every situation. I teach the elementary Sunday School class and love to watch the children grow. I serve on the mission board and serve as the Christian Education Director. I love people and want to see them grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
Angie Broberg has been serving as Office Manager at West Oaks since 1987. She oversees all the daily activities in the church office, such as answering phones, greeting visitors to the office, ordering supplies, creating the church bulletin, calendar and inserts, maintaining tithing records and church checkbook and many other duties in the office. Angie and her husband, Jerry, live in the Minnetonka area and have 3 grown daughters, 2 in the area and one teaching in Tucson, Arizona.About WOCC
